One of the most crucial elements to a comprehensive, statewide repository of artifacts dedicated to the LGBT community in Nevada is a database of oral histories and written translations. Without the personal accounts of the historic events that happened throughout time, future generations cannot fully appreciate the complexity of human existence at a particular time in a particular space. History can document the events, oral history can preserve the lives and stories; both are needed to accurately portray the LGBT community.
With your help, you can assist The Nevada LGBT Archives collect oral histories from across the Silver State.

- Reno’s Biggest Little Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence
- The Patio Bar community
- Cadillac Lounge community
- Carl’s Saloon community
